Certified Loose Diamonds by AGS

The American Gem Society Laboratories is one of the leading diamond-grading laboratories in the world. Founded 1996, the American Gem Society Laboratories was established to fulfill a need in the industry—to provide jewelers and customers with a protective and definitive diamond- grading document. The American Gem Society Laboratories’ diamond grading reports quantify a diamond’s beauty using a 0 to 10 grading scale created for simplicity and ease-of-use. Loose Diamonds Certificates - AGS

Certified Loose Diamonds

Because diamonds are naturally occuring substances they contain marks and irregularities. A truly flawless diamond is a very rare find. Diamonds are also found in a variety of colors, even though the most common is white. When chemicals are present in the atmosphere during diamond formation it can result in shades such as pink, blue, orange, green and yellow, which is the most common. The more intense the color, the more valuable the diamond will be. Certified Loose Diamonds will come with a certificate that will explain the traits that define the loose diamond.

The 4 most trusted names:
  • International Gemological Institute (IGI)
  • The Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
  • The American Gem Society (AGS)
  • The European Gemological Laboratories (EGL)
